Troop 1818 is a Jewish Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scouts of America) Troop pulling  Jewish youth from North Atlanta, Dunwoody, Sandy springs, East Cobb, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Decatur and other metro Atlanta communities. Our members tend to come from Conservative, Reform and unaffiliated Jewish communities.

The scouts of Troop 1818 participate in a broad array of activities. These include; Camping, Hiking, Fire safety, Pocketknife safety, Outdoor cooking, Zip lines, Swimming, Canoeing & Kayaking, Sailing, First aid training, Bow and arrows, Community service, Life saving and much much more.

Scouts will break into 2 groups and compete for prizes. 

Who will be crowned Troop 1818”s Top Chefs?

This trip will accomplish a plethora of rank, camping and cooking merit badge requirements. 


April ? (TBD) - 10 Mile Urban Hike Through Atlanta

Learn about Atlanta's Jews and the Civil Rights movement.

Open to Scouts and their parents.

April 24-26 - Mountain Hike and Camping

The Scouts will complete their 1000 foot ascension hike for their camping MB as well as many rank requirements.

May 17 - AOL Rank Advancement and Troop Meeting


May 31 - July 6  - Summer Camp

This is the best way for your scout to earn multiple merit badges and rank requirements.

There are still openings for more scouts until March 23rd to get most of the Merit Badge classes they request. After the 23 of March your Scout will be limited on the MB he can sign-up for.
